FLU LIKE ILLNESS ADVICE

If you have mild or moderate flu symptoms, stay home to avoid spreading the virus,
especially in GP practices, hospitals, and other healthcare settings.
If you need medical advice, visit your local pharmacy or call NHS 24 on 111 for urgent
concerns.
To reduce the spread:
Wash hands often
Cover coughs/sneezes with a tissue or your elbow
Consider wearing a face mask

This gives faster access to the GP for those that have more complex problems. signpost

your local pharmacist can treat urine infections and impetigo as well as most minor ailments, usually free of charge and without an appointment.

Similarly Opticians are now your first point of contact for most eye problems.

There is direct access for many pregnancy related concerns,

self referral to physiotherapy,
